'White flags of winter chimneys' jm

Sweater for Hi-Way :)

I must say, I'm pretty proud of myself...this is a sweater I knitted for Waylon. I've never knitted anything before, so it feels really good to have completed this.

Now I'm working on one for little Hal

Sunrise

I don't think I've ever seen a sunrise with such
intense color. In just the few seconds it took me
to adjust my camera, the fire was gone...

Pumpkin Cranberry Bread & muffins

Another cold rainy/slushy day. Baking always warms the kitchen and makes the house smell yummmy.
Let's see, this got rid of a can of pumpkin, and a bag of frozen cranberries.
It's really hard for me to use up my cranberry stock...you just can't get them all year, so I love when my freezer is full of them.

Making Risotto

I LOVE having a 'stocked' pantry... but, I realize that I have WAY to much food, so I'm going to use everything from my freezer/pantry and see how many dinners I can make without spending any more on food (other than fresh veggies etc).
I'm actually amazed at what I have on hand :)

About Me

ct, United States
Hi, I'm Priscilla. This blog is basically a diary, in photos, so that i might capture tiny pieces of time...that pass, far too quickly...and the older i get, the faster time passes. So here's a little bit about me: I live in Southern New England, (one of the worlds most beautiful places,in my opinion) I'm a Mom of 3, and grandma to 1 beautiful little girl. I love my kids, my grandaughter & my husband, more than anything in the world, BUT...there ARE other things I LOVE too...like pizza! & summertime & ice cold beer & red wine...brisk Autumn days, sitting by the fireplace, old houses, stone walls, flea markets, second hand shops, old painted furniture, decorating (and then redecorating). Warm sunny mornings on the porch, Earl Grey tea, and sultry late afternoons at the beach, and taking pictures. And Last, but by no means least, home.
